hot tip
maintain your sparkle
It is recommended to clean your chandelier every 12-24 months to ensure it is looking it's best and sparkling like new. We can recommend specialised cleaning companies - or you can do it yourself.
DIY cleaning
Start by switching the light off at the power and keep it off until the chandelier is completely dry. Fill a bucket around one fifth full with warm water and add approximately one twentieth white vinegar.
Using a soft microfiber cloth, dip it into the solution and wring it out so it is damp but not dripping. Gently wipe over each crystal and surface. The vinegar allows the water to evaporate cleanly, leaving the crystals clear and streak free.
Although there are specialist sprays available, we find that warm water, white vinegar and a little care delivers the best results without risking damage to electrical or metal components over time.
